Quieting the mind is essential. When the mindless chatter and thoughts are not coming in the way, you automatically start tuning inwards.
Close your eyes. If your thoughts come, observe them and let them pass. Are the thoughts too distracting? Focus on something. Try listening to the soft sound of the fan’s movement, breathing, or focus on the heart, the spot between the eyes, etc-anything. Make it a soft, gentle focus. Pick a style, and practice it every day.
Gradually, you will notice that you can stay quietened longer and longer. You come out of it feeling calm and in a state of well-being. With a relaxed body and mind, the body starts to calm down, and the chatter is gone. Soon, you can feel and sit in that calm quietness. Your body responds to it. Eventually, you will notice that you will feel good throughout the day. You start to think more clearly and make better decisions. Ideas and insights follow.
You start listening to yourself. The more you honor and listen to yourself, the more you connect with your inner wisdom.
Keep your stress filters lowered when you are not deliberately meditating or focused.
One way is to sit outside, see nature, breathing in the air.
Music that keeps you calm and relaxed helps too.
The more you are in a calm state, the more the day is peaceful. The more you check in on yourself and your thoughts- the more you start listening to yourself. All these things help you have more connection to innate wisdom.
The more you access innate wisdom, the more you become aware of the blueprint of your life path.
It is a continuous process of the inward journey that makes you uncover more and more of the wisdom.
You could set the intention by asking what does my soul want? What am I meant to do right now?
There is no one key fits all journey. Play around and see what works best for you.
Every being has their innate wisdom-come up with a way to tap into it, listen to it, and follow it-it will lead you to a more fruitful life.
In the beginning, you might question if you are doing it right. Keep at it until you feel more confident that you are genuinely listening to the inner voice.
As mentioned before, the body does tell you when it feels right. Listen to your body and how it reacts to your thoughts.
Each individual has an inward journey to follow. Take the effort, and see the quality of your life improve tremendously.
